As the leading single from the album, I'll Give All My Love to You, the hit song reached number fourteen on the Billboard Hot 100 and spent one week at number-one on the US R&B chart.[1] "Make You Sweat" also peaked at number five on the dance charts.[2]
The title of the song has since inspired the name of Keith Sweat's greatest hits album 14 years later.
