Marcus Martin (born November 29, 1993) is an American football center for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the 49ers in the third round of the 2014 NFL Draft. He played college football at USC.

High School

Martin attended Crenshaw High School in Los Angeles, California. He was All-L.A. City Offensive Lineman of the Year and Los Angeles Times All-Star as a senior, helping Crenshaw win the 2010 L.A. City Division I championship.

Considered a three-star recruit by Rivals.com, he was rated as the 28th best offensive guard prospect of his class.[1]

College career

Martin attended the University of Southern California from 2011 to 2013. Martin spent his freshman and sophomore seasons as the Trojans left guard.[2] Prior to his junior season he was moved to center. He entered the 2014 NFL Draft after his junior season.[3][4]
