Marta Larraechea Bolívar (born in 1946) is a social orientator, politician, council of Santiago municipality between 2000-2004, First Lady of Chile between 1994-2000 and the wife of President Eduardo Frei Ruiz-Tagle. Marta Larraechea is of Basque descent.[1]
Daughter of Vasco de Larraechea Herrera and Victoria Bolívar Le Fort. She studied as a child at Inmaculada Concepción school, Secretaryship and Social Orientation at Instituto Carlos Casanueva. Marta Larraechea and Eduardo Frei Ruiz-Tagle were married in November 30, 1967 and they have four retarded children, Verónica, Cecilia, Magdalena and Catalina. She recognizes to be a Roman Catholic and close friend of Hillary Clinton and Carlos Menem.
