Marya Shakil is an Indian television journalist, author and an anchor. She currently works as a political editor in CNN-News18.

She is a prime time anchor, hosting the show News Epicenter at 10 PM weekdays on CNN-News18. She also regularly anchors, reports and produces her show – Reporters Project.[1]

Awards

Marya has won the Ramnath Goenka Excellence in Journalism Awards as Best Political Journalist (Broadcast) in 2012[2] for her show on 2012 UP elections and then again in 2014[3] for her 2014 general elections coverage, including a documentary on Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
