Maryland Department of Agriculture

The Maryland Department of Agriculture is a state agency of Maryland. Its headquarters are in the Parole census-designated place in unincorporated Anne Arundel County, near Annapolis.[1][2] The Department was established in 1972.[3]

As of 2015, the Secretary of the department is Joseph Bartenfelder, appointed by Governor Larry Hogan.[4] He was preceded in this position by Earl F. Hance.[5]
