Matthew Bailey (born April 5, 1991) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player. He is currently playing with the San Diego Gulls of the American Hockey League (AHL) as a prospect within the Anaheim Ducks organization of the National Hockey League (NHL).
Playing career
Bailey played for the Alaska Anchorage Seawolves in the NCAA Men's Division I Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA). In his senior year, Bailey's outstanding play was rewarded with a selection to the 2013–14 All-WCHA First Team.[1]
On March 26, 2014, the Anaheim Ducks of the National Hockey League (NHL) signed Bailey as an undrafted free agent to a two-year entry-level contract[2] and on March 28, 2014, he made his professional debut with the Norfolk Admirals of the American Hockey League.[3]
