Max Abramson is a former Republican and Libertarian member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, representing Rockingham District 20 (Hampton Falls, Seabrook).

In May 2016, Abramson announced that he had changed his party registration from Republican to Libertarian.[1] In September he was nominated as the Libertarian Party of New Hampshire's candidate for Governor of New Hampshire, receiving 4.3% of the popular vote, the highest of any third party candidate for governor in 2016.[2] Abramson never changed his voter registration after his campaign won major party status and automatic ballot access for the Libertarian Party of New Hampshire for the first time in 20 years.
