Megacephala aequinoctialis is a species of ground beetle in the subfamily of Carabinae[1] that was described by Dejean in 1825.[1] The species are brown-black coloured, and could be found in South American countries like Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Peru, Venezuela.
