An anime television series adaptation by Encourage Films titled Merc Storia: Mukiryoku no Shōnen to Bin no Naka no Shōjo (メルクストーリア -無気力少年と瓶の中の少女-, Merc Storia: The Apathetic Boy and the Girl in a Bottle) premiered on October 11, 2018 on AT-X and other channels.[4][2][3] Crunchyroll is streaming the series.[5]
