Mesgen Amanov (born September 6, 1986) is a chess grandmaster from Turkmenistan. He is the highest rated player in his country, and has represented Turkmenistan in Chess Olympiads. Amanov is also a prominent chess teacher, working closely with fellow grandmaster Yury Shulman.
