Michael Paul Stephenson (born February 28, 1978) is an American film director, producer, writer, and actor. He is known to horror film fans as the child actor in Troll 2, and later directed a documentary about the film, Best Worst Movie.
Career
He is perhaps best known for his lead role in the 1990 horror film Troll 2 as Joshua Waits.[1] He also produced and directed the award-winning and critically acclaimed Best Worst Movie, a feature-length documentary about Troll 2 which debuted March 14, 2009.[2] His second feature documentary, The American Scream, premiered on NBCUniversal's Chiller network on October 28, 2012.
On February 16, 2011 it was announced in Hollywood Reporter that he will direct and produce, alongside his wife Lindsay Stephenson, his first narrative feature, Destroy.
Personal life
He currently resides in Los Angeles, California with his wife and three daughters.
