Michiko Kuwano (桑野通子, Kuwano Michiko, 4 January 1915 – 1 April 1946) was a Japanese actress.[1] She appeared in more than forty films from 1934 to 1946.
Career
First working as a "sweets girl" for Morinaga & Company, Kuwano joined the Shochiku studio in 1934, debuting in Hiroshi Shimizu's Kinkanshoku.[2] She gave birth to a girl in 1942, who later became the actress Miyuki Kuwano, and resumed work in 1943, but collapsed on the set of Kenji Mizoguchi's Victory of Women in 1946.[2]
