Midlothian High School is a public high school located in the city of Midlothian, Texas, USA and classified as a 6A school by the UIL. It is a part of the Midlothian Independent School District located in northwestern Ellis County and is the original high school. Starting in the fall of 2014, freshman students began attending newly built Midlothian Heritage High School which will add a grade a year and become a full 9-12 school by 2017. In 2015, the school was rated "Met Standard" by the Texas Education Agency.[2]
