Mike Bowron QPM is the Chief Officer of States of Jersey Police, he has held the post since 4 January 2011.[1][2] He was previously the Commissioner of the City of London Police from 2006 to 2011.[3]
He worked as a broker for Lloyd's of London before joining Sussex Police in 1980.[4]
Education
Bowron was educated at Sussex University where he achieved a BA (Hons) in Sociology.
He graduated from the FBI Academy in 2007.[5]

In 2010 Bowron played a key-role in setting-up the National Fraud Intelligence Bureau.[6]
