Michael Patrick "Mike" Hobin (born February 21, 1954) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player who played in the World Hockey Association (WHA).[1] Drafted in the thirteenth round of the 1974 NHL Amateur Draft by the Montreal Canadiens, Hobin opted to play in the WHA after being selected by the Vancouver Blazers in the seventh round of the 1974 WHA Amateur Draft.[1] He played parts of two WHA seasons for the Phoenix Roadrunners.[2] Mr. Hobin did also play in Austria for two seasons (1978-1989) for EC Villacher SV and probably in Western Germany for Augsburger Panthers.
