Mikhail Mikhaylovich Prusak (Russian: Михаи́л Миха́йлович Пруса́к) (born February 3, 1960 in Dzhurkiv, Kolomyiskyi Raion, Stanislav Oblast, Ukrainian SSR) was the governor of Novgorod Oblast, Russia from 1991 to 2007. On August 7, 2007 he resigned, and Sergey Mitin was appointed the governor. Prusak was also a member of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR from 1989 to 1991.[1]
