The Moei River (Thai: เมย) is a tributary of the Salween River. It originates in Phop Phra district, Tak Province. Unlike most rivers in Thailand, it flows north. The river forms the natural border line between Thailand and Burma. The districts along the Moei River bank of Thailand, from South to North are Mae Sot, Mae Ramat, Tha Song Yang and finally it enters the Salween River in Sop Moei district of Mae Hong Son Province. The river is 327 km long.
