Mokriyan-e Sharqi Rural District (Persian: دهستان مكريان شرقي) is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Mahabad County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran.[1] At the 2006 census, its population was 12,831, in 2,418 families.[2] The rural district has 20 villages.
