The Monastery of Christ the Word is a priory of the English Benedictine Congregation (EBC) located in Macheke, Zimbabwe, within the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Harare. The monastery is a daughter house of Ampleforth Abbey, whose monks formed the community in 1996 at the invitation of Archbishop Chakaipa and his fellow Zimbabwean bishops, who were desirous of a monastic presence in their country.

Today, the monastic community is made up of three solemnly professed monks of Ampleforth and one solemnly professed Zimbabwean monk, living according to the Rule of St. Benedict.
