History

Where it all started

MDPS was established in 1987, barely two years after the two Angelic Sisters, Mother Alessandra Sala and Sr. Teresa Bianco came to the Philippines. It was in 1988 that MDPS officially opened to 90 young learners; the classes were conducted at the ground floor of the Sisters' Convent. In 1990 the Grade 1 class was added with 61 students. The increasing number of students necessitated the Sisters to buy the land next to the Convent for the construction of a three-storey building; that which became a haven of learning for many years since its inception. In 1996, MDPS opened its High School Department. It was in the year 2000 that it witnessed its first batch of high school graduates.[1]

MDPS was first opened with 90 students in 1988, with classes conducted on the ground floor of the convent. In 1990, a Grade One class was added with an additional 61 students.

An increasing number of students necessitated expansion onto neighbouring land. In 1996, MDPS opened the high school department on the same site.

2016

On the year 2016, the MDPS community established its first batch of Grade 11 Senior High School students. Then on the succeeding year, it had its first batch of Grade 12 Senior High School students. Around the same year, the school bought a contract with Aralinks for them to provide ~50" TV's and laptops to the school for educational purposes.

2018

On the year 2018. the school adapted to a "New Generation School" system where students are provided with tablets which they could use during class as a mean of interaction and recording their grades.
