At Mountain View, students are encouraged to choose an academy to be placed in and complete the classes to reach their "major." If a student succeeds, they graduate with a certificate stating that they have indeed "majored." The Millennium Dancers took home first place in the military category at the 2008 Idaho State Dance and Cheer Competition, then received second place at Miss Dance Drill Team USA Nationals.
