Moustapha Bokoum (born August 5, 1999) is a Belgian professional footballer who plays as a forward for French club Béziers.[1]

Club career

After ascending the youth ranks at Gent, Bokoum began attracting the attention of several English and Italian teams.[2] In June 2018, he signed a professional contract with newly-promoted Ligue 2 side Béziers.[3] The deal was for two years, with the option of a third.[2] He made his professional debut on August 3, replacing Rayane Aabid in the closing minutes of a 1–0 defeat to AC Ajaccio.[4]

International career

Bokoum is a youth international for Belgium, representing his country of birth several times at the under-17 level.[3]

Born to a Guinean mother and a Congolese father, he is eligible to represent either nation at the senior level. He has retained a Guinean passport.[2]
