Mubarak Shah (athlete)
Mubarak Shah (Urdu: مبارک شاہ; born 24 June 1930) is a Pakistani former long-distance runner who competed in the 1960 Summer Olympics. Shah finished tenth in the 6 miles and twentieth in the 3 miles at the 1958 British Empire and Commonwealth Games. Four years later he finished tenth in the 3000 metres steeplechase and did not finish the 3 miles race at the 1962 British Empire and Commonwealth Games.[1] He is a double Asian Games gold medallist.[2]
Shah won gold in the 3000 m steeplechase and 5000 m at the 4th Asian Games held in Jakarta, Indonesia in 1962.[2]
