Nandni tunnels

Nandni tunnels are the series of four tunnels in Udhampur district in the Indian administered state of Jammu and Kashmir. They are located beneath the Nandni wild life sanctuary at a combined length of 1.4 km. The tunnels have considerably reduced the distance of about 7 km and travel time between the two cities. Currently the series of 4 tunnels operating from for vehicular traffic from Srinagar to Jammu are active and the series of tunnels operating for vehicular traffic from Jammu to Srinagar is under-construction.[1][2]
