Nay Htoo Naing (Burmese: နေထူးနိုင်; born 1 January 1979) is a Burmese actor and director. He is best known for his action movies in the Burmese Entertainment Industry. He has been acted over 300 films in his acting career.[1]
Early life
Nay Htoo Naing was born on 1 January 1979 in Yenangyaung, Magway Region, Myanmar. He applied to Defence Services Academy (D.S.A) after graduated from high school, but he was declined because of failure in some physical tests. Then he moved from Yenangyaung to Yangon, and started his acting career life.[2]
Career
Nay Htoo Naing did not have any connections to the Burmese film industry before starting out his career as a worker, security guard and eventually as an Actor. He began his acting career in 1997s, at aged 20.[3] He did not go to any formal school or training courses to study acting; however he says director Aung Min Thein is his mentor and taught him a lot.[4] He made his acting debut in the Burmese film "Ba Yoke ", playing the lead role. He gained recognition for his name Nay Htoo Naing, and entered to film industry with the movie "Amye Mae Dar " (Nameless Sword). He has been acted over 300 big screen movies and direct-to-videos in his acting career.[5] He acted not only in many direct-to-videos, but also acting in many big screen movies. He is also a film director and directing the big screen movie "Amone Zayike Amone Winkabar " (Behavior of Hate, Maze of Hate).[6] He founded "Target Art Training Center" in 2018.[1]

Personal life
Nay Htoo Naing married to singer Mya Thin Chal in 2011. The couple have two sons. His wife Mya Thin Chal is also actress in his some films.
