Neeleshwaram River originates from the Kinanur Hills in Kasaragod, Kerala state, India. The Neeleshwaram River flows through the hills of Vellarikundu and Hosdurg Taluk. It flows 46 km through Kasaragod district, passing the villages of Nalliadukkam, Koovaty, Manuri, Koduvakunnu, Pallathuvayal, Kakkat, Manakadavu, Arayi, Maduramkai, Padnakad, and Neeleshwaram. It finally reaches Oorcha in Nileshwar where it joins the Arabian Sea along with the Kariangode River. It is also known as the Koovaty river.[1]

Tributaries

Edathod river and Mayanganam river are the two tributaries of Neeleshwaram river.
