New Horizon College of Engineering is an Autonomous engineering college approved by the All India Council of Technical Education affiliated to Visweswaraiah Technological University. It is situated in Bangalore, 24 km from Majestic, near Marathalli.

History
New Horizon College of Engineering,Bangalore, part of the New Horizon Educational Institution which was established in 1970. New Horizon College of Engineering was established in 2001.
Location
The college is located in Bangalore's IT corridor, Near Marathahalli, situated on the Ring Road.
NHCE is amongst the few colleges under the Visvesvaraya Technological University which are ISO-9001:2000 certified. According to Dataquest-IDC Survey "India's Best Technicals Schools" (dated 15 June 2008), the college is ranked number 17 in Karnataka and number 48 among India’s top technological schools.It has been Ranked No: 3 among the best private tech schools in Karnataka and Ranked No: 21 among the best private tech school in INDIA – Dataquest Survey March - 2014. It is a Recipient of Prestigious Rajyotsava Award 2012 conferred by Government of Karnataka.New Horizon College of Engineering, Bangalore, has been conferred "Outstanding Technical Education Institute in Karnataka" by the National Karnataka Education Summit & Award 2014, supported by Visvesvaraya Technological University, AICTE, AIU, Govt. of IndiaMNRE/MSME, NIELIT, DeITy, NIXI. Campus Facilities and Amenities
There are landscaped gardens, trees lined pathways, and student rest places, Amphitheatre, parking lot. Playgrounds and indoor sports facilities help develop physical skills.
- The Central Library serves all the reference and study needs of students in the campus, and contains 98,000 volumes. Technical journals representing a wide range and from all parts of the world are well stocked with early back reference indexing facility.[clarification needed] The library annex is more modern and added new features, such as more space. Computers with internet facilities and photocopying facilities are available in the library complex that is manned by professionally qualified librarians.
- The laboratories are state of the art and match the needs of many disciplines and sub specialties. There are several labs on campus which are kept up to date and represent multiple disciplines.
- Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan Ashoka Chakra Memorial centre for performing arts is a modern auditorium with 800 seat capacity with facilities of green room for arts rehearsal and dining facilities. It hosts many college events and also various cultural events of Bangalore city.
Sports
The campus has a playground, and an indoor basketball stadium. It is equipped with a gym. Nirvana is the students recreation center for indoor games.
Hostel
The campus has separate hostels for boys and girls. Food facility is provided and managed by Sodexo. Any form of ragging is strictly prohibited and incurs severe punishments.
