New Rizvia Society is a residential colony situated in Karachi near Safura Goth, KDA Scheme No.33 opposite to Institute of Radiotherapy and Nuclear Medicine (KIRAN)[1] Sindh, Pakistan. The society provides residential plots exclusively to Shias Muslims only. While visiting distressed families of March 2013 Karachi bombing Sindh Governor suggested that residential arrangement would be made in New Rizvia Society for Abbas Town blast survivors.[2] In November, 2016 an outspoken Pakistani Shia leader Faisal Raza Abidi, and former member of Senate of Pakistan has been arrested from his residence in New Rizvia Society during a large-scale operation[3]
