New York Central Railroad Passenger Station, in Syracuse, New York, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on September 11, 2009.[1]
The passenger station, built in 1936, is of Art Deco design. In 1962, New York Central Railroad moved to a smaller station in East Syracuse, New York. The interior of the terminal was used as a Midtown Motors car dealership in the late 1950s to early 1960s. Greyhound used it a bus terminal from 1964 until a fire in 1996.[2]
The passenger building was renovated from 2001 to 2003 for use by a Time Warner Cable 10/News Now studio and Time Warner offices.[2] Today it is used as the regional Time-Warner Cable headquarters.[3]
