Newport School District (NSD) is a public school district based in Newport, Arkansas, United States. Established in 1876, NSD supports more than 1,500 students in prekindergarten through grade 12 in the 2010–11 school year by employing more than 260 faculty and staff on a full time equivalent basis for its five schools.
The school district encompasses 333.49 square miles (863.7 km2) of land in Jackson County and serves all or portions of Newport, Diaz, Amagon, Hickory Ridge, Weiner, Jacksonport, Bradford, McCrory, Beedeville, Tupelo, and Weldon.
