Nick Stephens (born May 19, 1987) is an American football quarterback who is currently a free agent. He played college football at Tennessee and Tarleton State.

College career

Stephens began his studies at the University of Tennessee in 2006 and began playing football in 2008. He started six of the seven games he played in, with a record of 63 completions in 130 attempts, gaining 840 yards and 4 TDs. He was used at back-up in 2009, completing 9 of 13 passes for 142 yards and one touchdown. In 2010, Stephens transferred to Tarleton State, completing 132 of 258 passes for 1,774 yards and 9 touchdowns in 8 games. In his senior year (2011), he completed 242 of 429 passes for 3,005 yards and 29 touchdowns in 11 games.[1]

Pro career

Tennessee Titans

He signed with the Titans on April 30, 2012, as a rookie free agent and was waived on August 26, 2012.[1]

Dallas Cowboys

He signed with the Cowboys on December 31, 2012, and was waived on August 27, 2013.[1]

Baltimore Ravens

Signed with the Ravens' practice squad on October 30, 2013, and was waived on May 30, 2014.[2]
