Nicolaes Millich

Nicolaes (Nicholas) Millich (1629-1699) was a Dutch sculptor. He was born in Antwerp and became a master sculptor in Antwerp's Guild of Saint Luke in 1657-58. Millich spent most of his life in Sweden. HIs most notable work were the statue carvings decorating the staircase and hall of Drottningholm Palace.[1] He worked in Stockholm during the periods of 1669-76 and 1682-88.[2]
