Nicole Ross (born January 15, 1989) is an American female fencer.[1][2] At the 2012 Summer Olympics she competed in the Women's foil but was defeated 8-15 in the second round.[3] At the 2017 World Championships, she, Lee Kiefer, Margaret Lu and Nzingha Prescod won the silver medal in the women's team event.

Career

She won silver at the 2015 and 2016 Pan American Fencing Championships, bronze at the 2009 and 2017 Pan American Fencing Championships.[4][5][6][7] She was part of the USA's medal winning 2009 Junior World Championship team.[8] She won an NCAA title in 2010.[8]

She took up fencing at the age of 9, inspired by the Princess Bride.[9] She is an assistant coach at Cornell University and has a degree in Art History from Columbia University.[9]
