Niram Maaratha Pookkal (Tamil: நிறம் மாறாத பூக்கள்) (English: Flowers that don't change colors) is a 2017 Tamil-language Romance soap opera starring Murali, Nishma, Vishnupriya and Dharish. It started airing on Zee Tamil from 9 October 2017 on Monday to Friday at 14:00 (IST).[2] The Show is Produced by Neelima Rani.[3][4] It is a triangular love story.[5]

Synopsis

It is a story about a village girl Venmathi (Ashmitha/Vishnupriya) who is in love with her teen age crush Ram (Murali). But her teen age crush is far away in a city and is in love with another city based fashionable girl Keerthy (Nishma). Circumstances forces the hero to marry the heroine. The struggle of the heroine to safeguard from revealing herself to the hero and hero's struggle, between the two women forms the crux of the story.

Casting

The series is a triangular Romance story. Murali plays the lead male role as Ram, Kannada Film Actress Nishma, plays the lead roles of Keerthy, Tamil Film Actress Ashmitha plays the lead roles of Venmathi. Later Vishnupriya was replaced role of Venmathi in Episode 50. Are making their Tamil-language debuts with the series. Priyamanaval Serial fame Dharish is also part of the serial and will be seen playing an important role of Sathish.

The Show is Produced by Tamil Television Actress Neelima Rani.[6][7][8][9] This is the first series to be produced. It has been shot in Muttom, Kanyakumari and Nagar Kovil among others places.

Title

This title was taken from a 1979 Niram Maaratha Pookkal movie starring Sudhakar, Raadhika and Vijayan. The English meaning of this title Flowers that don't change colors.

International broadcast

The Series was released on 9 October 2017 on Zee Tamil and from 15 October 2017 on Zee Tamil HD. The Show was also broadcast internationally on Channel's international distribution.
