No. 653 Squadron AAC is a squadron of the British Army's Army Air Corps (AAC).

History

The squadron served in Aden from 9 March 1961 until 1967.

Current use

The squadron operates the Apache AH.1 from Wattisham Airfield.[1] It will be the Apache Conversion Squadron after 2015.[2]
