Nordic Capital private equity funds focus on leveraged buyout transactions primarily in the Nordic region (e.g., Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden). Nordic Capital invests across a broad array of industries.

Nordic Capital is based in Jersey and was founded in 1989. The latest fund, Nordic Capital Fund VIII, has EUR 3.5 bn in committed capital and Nordic Capital was among the 50 largest private equity firms globally. Since its foundation, Nordic Capital has acquired close to 90 companies, including Atos Medical, C More Entertainment (Canal + Nordic), Falck (Denmark) and the fitness club chain SATS.
