Noreppa is a genus of neotropical charaxine butterflies in the family Nymphalidae, native to Colombia, Bolivia, Venezuela, Peru and Argentina. It is a monotypic genus. The single species is Noreppa chromus .

The wingspan is about 85 mm.[2] Adults have an iridescent blue patch, which is confined to the discal area of the hindwing. There is also a series of submarginal eyespots.[3]

Habitat

Montane forest at 1500 to 2000 metres.
