Tenzing Montes
Appearance
The Norgay Montes are icy mountains that reach 3,400 meters (11,000 ft) above the surface of Pluto in the bright region to the south of Tombaugh Regio (or the part of Tombaugh Region south of the equator). They are named after the Nepalese mountaineer Tenzing Norgay, who was among the first to climb the highest peak on Earth, Mt. Everest.[1][2][3]
