Nueva Extremadura

Nueva Extremadura means "New Extremadura" in Spanish and comes from Extremadura, Spain.
Nueva Extremadura could refer to
- a region in the north of New Spain, roughly placed on the border between present-day Coahuila and Texas.[1]
- the name originally given to Chile by Pedro de Valdivia. Its capital was then known as Santiago de Nueva Extremadura.
