Oscar Lee Owens was the ninth head college football coach for the University of Richmond Spiders located in Richmond, Virginia and he held that position for the 1898 season. His career coaching record at Richmond was 3 wins, 3 losses, and 1 ties. This ranks him 16th at Richmond in total wins and ninth at Richmond in winning percentage.[1] Owens later lived in Baltimore, Mayland.[2] He died in 1954 in Oklahoma.[3]
