The Government of Odisha in India has come up with various programs called schemes (yojana) from time to time for the people of the State. This is a list of some of the major ones. State implementations of national schemes (e.g. National Nutrition Mission (Ministry of Women and Child Development); The Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, 2006; Integrated Child Development Services) are not included.

Sarbakhyama Yojana June 20, 2018 Housing & Urban Development Dept Regularise unauthorised constructions in the state subject to certain conditions. Relaunched in June 2018.[10][11][12]
Utthan Scheme June 18, 2018 School and Mass Education Education Improve education for Class VI to VIII.[13][14] to provide quality education & overall development[15][15][16][17][18][19]
Utkarsh Scheme June 18, 2018 School and Mass Education Education Improve secondary education class 9 to 10[13][14][15][16][17][18][19]
Gopabandhu Sambadika Swasthya Bima Yojana June 1, 2018 Information & Public Relations Department Health Care Health insurance for journalists.[20][21]
Mahapranay Yojna May 31, 2018 General Administration Department Social Welfare Financial assistance for cremation[22] The Mahapranay Yojana was implemented on 25 August 2018 and is assumed by the chief minister of Odisha to be an amendment of HSY[23]
Mukhyamantri Krishi Udyog Yojana May 17, 2018 Agriculture & Farmer Empowerment Agriculture Simplification of loan subsidies to farmers[24][25]

Odisha Free Smartphone Yojana for Women Farmers April 9, 2018 Agriculture & Farmer Empowerment Agriculture Development Provide smartphones for women farmers to get useful agriculture information[31][32]
Biju Yuva Shashaktikaran Yojana (BYSY) March 14, 2018 Sports & Youth Services Youth Affairs Includes Biju Yuva Vahini sub-scheme to promote youths in leadership, volunteering, sports and health.[33][34][35] Free laptop distribution in 2019 for merit list Class XII students[36][37]
Khushi Scheme February 26, 2018 Health and Family Welfare Women Empowerment Sanitary napkins for adolescent girls in Classes 6 to 12 in government and government-aided schools.[38][39]
Mukshyamantri Kalakar Sahayata Yojana (MMKSY) January 17, 2018 Culture department?? Cultural welfare?? Provide financial assistance to the literature and cultural artists.[40]
AMA Clinic Yojana January 1, 2018 Health & Family Welfare HealthCare Aims at providing Fixed Day Specialist Services in Urban Clinics. Includes Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics, Medicine and Geriatrics, Eye-care, Physiotherapy and Psychiatric services.[41][42]

Anmol Yojana January 1, 2018 Health & Family Welfare HealthCare Aims at providing ANMOL Tablets to Auxiliary Nurse Midwives (ANMs) across the state to improve real time services to pregnant women, mothers and newborns.[41][42]

Sudakhya Yojana to Encourage Girls for Technical Education November 10, 2017 Skill Development and Technical Education Vocational Girl students who pass Class X examination are eligible to attend ITI (technical institute). Runs for 2 years.[52][53]
Shishu Abond Matru Mrutyuhara Purna Nirakaran Abhiyan (SAMPURNA) scheme September 2017 Women & Child Development Health Care Financial assistance to pregnant women in try to reduce Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) and Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR)[54]
Chief Ministers Employment Generation Scheme (CEGS) August 15, 2017 Skill Development and Technical Education Vocational Upgrade skills of youth in panchayats, provide loans and subsidies[55][56]
Tritiya Prakriti Suraksha Abhiyan (TPSA) August 2017 SSEPD Social Welfare Provide rehabilitation facilities, scholarships, employment opportunities to transgender people.[57]

Baristha Nagarika Tirtha Yatra Yojana July 2016 Tourism Department Tourist Welfare The scheme is envisaged to help senior citizens over 60–75 years of age to undertake pilgrimage on trains with government assistance[80]
Ujjwal Scheme April 7, 2016 School & Mass Communication Department Education Improve primary and secondary school education. In 2018, was relaunched to focus on Class I to V, while Utthan Scheme was implemented for Class VI to VIII.[81] Updated in 2018[15][82][17][16][18][19]

Deep Borewell Secha Karyakrama 2010–11 Department of Water Resources Provide irrigation facilities to small and marginal farmers through installation of deep borewells covering cultivated area of minimum two hectare.[104]
Banishree Yojana April 1, 2008 Women & Child Development Education Scholarships for children with special needs studying in schools from primary to University level including those pursuing technical and vocational education.[105][106][107]
Madhu Babu Pension Yojana 2008 Department of Social Security and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Social Security Pension for elderly, widows, and disabilities. Renewed and updated multiple times.[108][109][110]
Vasundhara Scheme 2008 Revenue & Disaster Management Department Provide decimals of homestead land. Originally implemented in the 1970s, adjusted in 2008 and 2018.[111][112][113][114]
Kishori Shakti Yojana August 31, 2007 women & child development Women Empowerment Empower adolescent girls through education, social exposure, nutrition, health and development, hygiene, life skills, social skills.[115][116][117]
Biju Gram Jyoti Yojana (BGJY) 2007 Energy Department Energy Provide access to electricity to villages and habitation less than 100 population not covered under RGGVY.[118][119]
Mo Jami Mo Diha 2007 Revenue & Disaster Management Revenue Protect land rights for the poor, enable them to use the land, assist poor.,[120]
Mahatma Gandhi Bunkar Bima Yojana (MGBBY) 2005 Handlooms, Textiles and Handicrafts Department Healthcare Insurance coverage for accidental death and partial / total disability. Update of Bunkar Bima Yojana from 2003.[121][122]
Matsyajibi Unnayana Yojana (MUY) 2003 Fisheries & Animal Resources Development Department Special welfare package for fishers, with 14 components including financial assistance, health/accident insurance, watercraft, cage and seaweed culture.[123]
