The preferences dialog allows you to personalize some things, to feel more confortable while browsing wikipedia. They will apply only when you are logged in.

Here, you can:

  • Change your password: Just fill the textboxes with your old password, the new password, and the new password again (to avoid problems), and then save preferences.
  • QuickBar: You can enable/disable it and select where do you want it.
  • Skin: You have various skins available, to select the one you like the most.
  • Textbox dimensions: Here you can set up the size of the textbox that appears when you edit a page to make you feel comfortable.
  • Email: You can set up your email address by just editing the textbox.

What is the email function for? Do we get an automatic subscription to wikipedia-L if we enter it? Dreamyshade
