Ota Kohoutek (born 23 May 2003) is a Czech footballer who currently plays as a midfielder for Zbrojovka Brno B.

Youth career

He played a total of 46 games for Retz and Rapid Wien youth teams.[1] After an injury in the under-16 category, he was no longer in the lineup and ended his engagement in Austria.[2] He started in Zbrojovka Brno in the U19 category, where he was the most productive midfielder in the team with 6 goals.[3]

He made his professional debut for Zbrojovka Brno in the home match against Chrudim on 21 November 2021. He came to the pitch as a substitute in 63rd minute and helped his team to win 3–2 with his first career goal.[4] In the added time, he made his mark after an assist from Jiří Texl.[5] At the same time, he also played for the reserve team, which played in the 4th league.[6] After ending his loan spell in Prostějov, he was in the sights of Znojmo in January 2023, but his engagement was cancelled.[7]

He spent the first part of the 2022–23 season on loan in Prostějov, but due to injury he only played in 2 matches and his loan was ended. [8][9]

International career

Kohoutek played for the U15 and U19 Czech Republic youth national teams.[10]

Personal life

His father, Ota Kohoutek, is the former owner of 1. SC Znojmo FK, who led the club to a historic promotion to the first league.[11]
