"Out of Control"
Song

"Out of Control" is the first single released by the American rock band Hoobastank from their highly successful album The Reason. It charted at No. 16 on the US Mainstream rock charts and at No. 9 on the US Modern rock charts.

The song describes the singer, a person who is out of control after following someone's orders blindly, losing that persons trust, and not knowing what to do or who to trust, looking for answers to his pain and sadness.

The song was a part of the soundtrack for the movie Torque and the soundtrack for the video games MX Unleashed, Test Drive: Eve of Destruction, Backyard Wrestling 2 and Juiced: Eliminator.

The song also features backing vocals by Ian Watkins and Jamie Oliver of the Welsh alternative metal band Lostprophets.

Music video

The music video was made, directed by Nathan Cox where the group goes into a club and performs while getting dizzy as crowds are cheering on them.
