Publication history

Palace of the Vampire Queen was written by Pete and Judy Kerestan, with art by Morno, and was published as 15 sheets and an outer folder.[1] Wee Warriors published a second edition in 1976 that consisted of 12 sheets, and a third edition in 1977 as a 12-page digest-sized book with 10 center-bound maps.[1]

In 1976, TSR picked Wee Warriors up for exclusive distribution, making Palace of the Vampire Queen one of the first four Wee Warriors products to be widely sold in this manner.[2]: 28  Palace of the Vampire Queen was the first standalone role-playing game adventure, which was published before TSR's Lost Caverns of Tsojcanth.[3]: 152
