Palung is an ancient market place in Thaha Municipality in Makwanpur District in the Narayani Zone of southern Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 5,223 people living in 963 individual households.[1]

To Promote local culture Palung has one FM radio station Radio Palung - 107.2 MHz Which is a Community radio Station.

School and Colleges

Palung is a home of Janakalyan Higher Secondary School and Palung multiple campus.
