Paraplatyptilia metzneri is a moth of the Pterophoridae family that is found in France, Switzerland, Italy, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Republic of Macedonia, Serbia and Montenegro, Albania, Bulgaria, Russia, Turkey, China, Iran[2] and Mongolia.[3]

The larvae possibly feed on Astragalus species.[4]
