Parviz Jalayer (Persian: پرویز جلایر, born 6 October 1939 in Tehran) is a retired Iranian weightlifter and an Olympic Silver medalist for Iran.

He set a world record in Tehran in 1967 (169 kilograms). Aside from the medals listed under the picture he also has the following World Championship medals:

  • October 1966, Bronze Medal, East Berlin.
  • October 1968, Silver Medal, Mexico City.
