Patrol ng Pilipino or PNP (lit. Patrol of the Filipino) is a weekly 45-minute news documentary that will give an in-depth look at the biggest stories aired on ABS-CBN, ANC and Studio 23 newscasts, Umagang Kay Ganda, TV Patrol, Bandila and Iba-Balita. It is broadcast by ABS-CBN in the Philippines.[1]

History About the name of the show

The name of the show was conceived from the slogan field reporters say after reporting their stories in TV Patrol which is the national network news broadcast of ABS-CBN in the Philippines.

About

In "Patrol ng Pilipino", reporters will give viewers an in-depth look at stories that matter, and unmask the side of news often witnessed by them. Each week, two to three ABS-CBN reporters will revisit their reports to show unaired footage and behind-the-scene videos. Featuring uncut, raw, and real stories, the program will also reveal the faces behind each story, the emotions involved, and the real lives that make up the numbers and data in news reports.

Slogan

  • "Unmask the Truth Behind the News" (2010–present)
  • Patrol ng Pilipino would be airing in DZMM TeleRadyo on September 6, 2011 at 9:15 PM. It was announced on August 30, 2011 in DZMM's Dos Por Dos. This would be seen only in DZMM TeleRadyo.
