Pieršamajski District (Belarusian: Першамайскі, Russian: Первомайский) is an adiministrative subdivision of the city of Minsk, Belarus. It was named after the First of May.[1]

Geography[edit]

The district is situated in the north-eastern area of the city and borders with Saviecki and Partyzanski districts.

Main sights[edit]

The National Library of Belarus is located in Pyershamayski. Its octagonal structure is present in the coat of arms. In Čaliuskincaŭ Park is located the "Children's Railroad".

Transport[edit]

The district is served by the subway line "Maskoŭskaja". It is also crossed by the beltway "MKAD".
